About Ingraham

A legacy of excellence in education — empowering minds and shaping futures in the heart of Aligarh since 1977.

Our Story

A Legacy of Excellence in Education

Our school began on 10th January 1977, under the banner of Ingraham Institute Society, Ghaziabad, with Kindergarten classes held in just two rooms on the premises of the Harduaganj Thermal Power Project, Kasimpur. The agreement to start the school was signed by Mr. R. K. Michael, then Director of Ingraham Institute, and Mr. J. S. Bhatnagar, then General Manager of the Power Project, with Late Miss V. M. Stephen serving as our first Headmistress.

Since then, the school has grown through affiliation with C.B.S.E., Delhi in 1987, its first Class X Board batch in 1988–89, and eventual upgradation to the Senior Secondary (10+2) level in 2021. Today, our highly qualified faculty focuses on the holistic development of every child on a modern campus of 36 classrooms and a spacious auditorium — carrying forward a legacy built on faith, determination and the dedication of the leaders who came before us.
